Economic Development Commission recognizes significant impact on the photonics industry
Lake Mary, FL., December 8, 2008 - Laser Photonics, the industry leader in developing high-tech fiber and CO2 laser systems for marking, cutting and engraving applications, recently received the William C. Schwartz industry innovation award for having significant impact in the photonics industry.
The Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission presented Laser Photonics with the William C. Schwartz industry innovation award for the Seminole County, Florida geographical area. The award honors William C. Schwartz, a community leader, business pioneer and innovator within the fields of photonics and optics.
Kristen Breunig, marketing manager for Laser Photonics, accepted the award on behalf of Laser Photonics. “I am pleased to accept this award and honored that the EDC selected Laser Photonics. We strive to be a superb example of innovation, excellence and an industry leader in laser systems, “ said Breunig.
